Llywelyn ap Gruffudd or Llywelyn the last, was killed at nearby Cilmery on 11/12/1282 and spent his last night in a cave above Aberedw. We will walk along the banks of the River Wye, through Aberedw Rock’s to his cave, and then walk onto Llandeilo Hill and visit Twm Tobacco’s grave, before heading back down to the Wye’s bank’s.

Path’s are suitable for all weather’s, but it is December in Mid Wales so waterproof clothing should be carried.
